Easter bike Feaster

this weekend, 5 of us (melissa, johnny, matt statta, frank, patricia) biked from AJAX to PORT HOPE via the lakeshore trail. it was about 90k, and took about 10 hours.
here is us in the beginning

we are happy and energized about our fresh legs and sunny day. jumping is a great way to show off your excitement !!!
we couldn't help to notice how nice the whitby mental hospital looks from the outside. here's matt stttatta contemplating ways to break in.

here's a picture of us biking away from frank, who was capturing our souls with his photographicing device. heh.

this here is johnny, who is a maniac. he biked in a tank top ( we estimated the temperature to be 279.15 kelvin a.k.a. 6 degrees celsius. )

along the way, we passed by a ghost bike. it was beautiful and sad and very white.

after paying respects, we found a nice frigid balcony in a public park erupting with children, to stop and drink our chalky liquid meal supplements and gorge out on vector bar sandwiches and nuts. (it all goes in easy- comes out way faster).

frank is a babe, especially when 'is pants is falling off. : )

luckily we left our muskets & insatiable desire to kill wildlife at home.

one thing i learned from this trip::: get a good seat that won't compromise your pelvis structube. i had to improvise... if anyone wants the hobo seat look, let me know,. i will hook a brofer up.

the lakeshore trail is pretty beautiful and full of different terrain to keep you guessing. we must have passed by 59, 638 windows of houses and 289572932395jr32098 dogs along the way. i recommend taking a nice long bike trip when it's not too hot or cold, with people who are well-oriented, (-if you are a cyclist. if you're not, BECOME ONE GODDAMNIT) also, bring some tunes. they may save your life.

we strolled into port hope around 7 pm. here is us about to melt, except for frank... who is always full of ATP.

i'd like to thank the sun for being there for us, and for frank's mom & sister who cheered us upon our arrival in port hope, with a big yellow sign. biking rocks.
